Alex Starts Working With Upholstery
Alex began his upholstery career in 1986 in Moscow, Russia. This was the birth place of his passion in restoring antique furniture as well as reupholstering modern designs. It was there that he fell in love with the process of restoration and completely dived into the understanding and mastery covering every aspect of the upholstery business.
1996
Alex Moves to the USA
In 1992 Alex moved to the USA with his wife and 5 children, opening up his first upholstery business in the garage of his newly built home on Hilltop Rd in 1995. Within several years Alex’s talent in upholstery was well noticed within the community and nearby states.
In 1999 Alex purchased a former auto shop on Hilltop road and converted it to the upholstery shop that stands there today. In 2015 Alex expanded his shop with the new addition of a garage to accommodate clients seeking to reupholster classic antique cars.
Unique Skills
The most noticeable quality of Alex’s work is his ability to restore antique furniture and automobiles to perfection. Customers are very surprised when they see a broken antique chair with missing pieces and torn fabric becoming a masterpiece, brining back time to life.
