The most moving parts we handle
Reclining sofas are the most mechanical thing in our furniture queue. A custom recliner sofa can hide two or three complete mechanisms inside one frame, and every one of them has to travel freely after the new cover goes on, or the whole job was for nothing.
- Strip the frame and service each mechanism
- Replace crushed padding with high-density foam
- Sew and fit covers that clear every pivot point
- Cycle each seat a few dozen times before delivery
That last step matters most. We open and close every position until we are thoroughly bored, because the owner will do it daily for years. Our sofa upholstery service would much rather find a snag in the shop than hear about it on the phone later.
