Upholstery Estimate Policy
The purpose of this policy is to outline the process for providing accurate, transparent, and fair upholstery estimates to customers. It serves as a guide for both customers and staff in understanding the costs and terms associated with upholstery services.
At Alex Upholstery, we offer several ways to get an accurate estimate for your project:
– Email Request: For a fast and detailed estimate, simply email us your project details at [email protected]. Be sure to include a brief description of the project, any relevant measurements, and photos of your furniture if possible. This will help us provide you with an accurate estimate.
– In-Person Visit: If you prefer to meet with us directly, you’re welcome to bring your furniture to our shop for evaluation. We’re located at 1244 Hilltop Rd, Myerstown, PA 17067. We are open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM. Visits are available by appointment to ensure we can give you our full attention. Our team will assess your furniture and discuss the best options for your project in person.
Please note that we require all project details to be submitted via email or in person before we can proceed with your estimate. If the email request or visit is not made, we will not be able to add your project to our waitlist.
For your convenience, we look forward to helping you through either method!
– Customers will be provided with fabric options based on their budget, desired aesthetic, and durability needs.
– If the customer provides their own fabric, the company will ensure it is appropriate for upholstery use.
– Any additional costs for special materials (e.g., leather, high-end fabrics) will be disclosed upfront.
The estimate will include the following:
– Labor Costs: Calculated based on the time and expertise required for the job.
– Materials Costs: Breakdown of fabric, foam, padding, and any special materials used.
– Additional Services: Costs for any additional services (e.g., re-stuffing cushions, frame repair, decorative elements).
– Delivery and Pickup: If applicable, transport fees will be included.
– Validity Period: Estimates are typically valid for 30 days. After this period, prices may change based on material costs, labor rates, or other factors
