New slings, no cushions needed
Sling chairs skip the cushion entirely; a single sheet of tensioned outdoor mesh does all the work. That makes replacement a precision job, because a sling cut half an inch generous just sags, and one cut stingy will not seat into the rails at all.
- Measure the frame and the old sling before any cutting
- Cut fresh outdoor mesh squared to the weave
- Hem the edges with UV-stable thread on the walking foot
- Tension the new sling into the spline rails
