Cushions for a boat that never sits still
A Mastercraft XStar spends its life surrounded by spray, ballast water, and dripping wakeboarders, so its cushions get wetter than most boats ever will. Standard foam and fabric simply are not invited to that party.
For a wake boat we lean hard on quick-dry foam, the open-structure kind that lets water fall straight through instead of soaking in. Under the cushions we like a breathable mesh layer so the underside dries too, and on top goes marine-grade vinyl rated for UV, sewn with thread that can sit in the sun all season without turning brittle. Piping and seams follow the factory styling lines, because a performance boat should look sharp while it works. Snaps get set to the boat itself so every cushion lands home on the first try.
