We had a 10 dining room chairs, an antique wing chair, and a leather club chair with ottoman. We worked with Alex to reupholster all pieces. For the chairs, we obtained Harris Tweed wool and Alex professionally restored our wing chair and dining chairs, improving and repairing even the cushions and strapping. Alex worked with us to get Italian leather, and restored the club chair and ottoman. Alex worked with us to pick-up and deliver furniture, did excellent quality work, and completed the projects in a reasonable time. I would definitely use Alex again in the future.

This reclining chair has become the most coveted spot in our family living room. This used to be a worn leather chair, and now is a soft comfortable recliner my husband loves to fall asleep in. Alex gave great advice on what kind of fabric to select. This particular fabric is exactly what I was looking for. It is modern, soft and easy to clean as well. My 1939 Brunn-Cadillac Town Car is completed! This is a tribute to Alex’s unmatched talents. I cannot begin to express my overwhelming shock and joy over this project. This artist is so talented and honest, simply a pleasure to work with. I feel so very fortunate to have placed a car of this complexity, rarity, and historical significance in his hands. So often, this is a make or break moment for classic car owners who are constantly under stressful situations, a lot of sleepless nights, I slept well during this project.

We initially brought one antique chair for reupholstering not knowing very much about Alex’s Upholstery Shop, and without a referral. When we returned to the shop to pick up our chair, we were blown away! It was absolutely beautiful! We then brought a second antique chair for reupholstering, and again we were amazed at the quality of the workmanship. We really appreciate the great work you did in reupholstering our love seat sofa. We liked the old chair because the style matched our chairs, but the material was worn out and the way the springs sagged no one liked sitting on it any longer. The new material really matches our decor, but the best thing is the new Marshall style springs you put in. Now the old piece sits better than new. We appreciate that your work is even better than what we expected, both in quality and in time!
