A Victorian style chair needed complete restoration.
We renovated an antique Victorian piece from its poor condition into a beautiful craft by providing quality and complete upholstery. Even the 8-way hand tied construction method was used for the coil springs, so as to not only guarantee comfort and support, but also to ensure long-term durability.
The Victorian style sofa was an excellent project to work on. We were able to take an old, damaged piece of furniture and restore it to its former glory. In addition, we were able to learn a new skill: upholstery. The process of reupholstering the sofa was both challenging and rewarding. We had to carefully remove the old fabric, clean the frame, and then select new fabric that would complement the style of the sofa. In the end, we were very pleased with the results. Not only did we save a piece of furniture from being discarded, but we also created a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece that will be cherished for years to come.
