Italy Antique leather dining chair with decorative nail trim
- Project: Reupholstery
- Category: Furniture Upholstery
Our Task
Reupholster with leather and re-glue all joints.
Upholstering a piece of furniture can breathe new life into an old piece and extend its lifespan. It can also be a great way to add a personal touch to a room. Our recent upholstery project involved an Ethan Allen wingback chair. The first step was to remove the old fabric and padding. We then measured and cut the new fabric, making sure to leave enough excess to tuck under the cushions. Once the fabric was in place, we added new padding and stapled it in place. Finally, we reattached the legs and gave the chair a final inspection. The end result was a beautiful chair that looked like new again.
