Our client wanted to preserve the sentimental value of their beloved rocking chair and ottoman while introducing a new aesthetic that would feel at home in their seaside cottage. The chosen upholstery features a soft off-white background beautifully accented with delicate nautical illustrations — sailboats gliding across the water, distant islands dotted with greenery, and charming lighthouses guiding the way. It’s a design that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and imagine waves lapping against the shore.
We carefully stripped the frame to its core, reinforcing and restoring the wood to ensure stability and smooth rocking motion for years to come. New high-density foam was added to both the seat and the back for comfort that doesn’t compromise on durability. The tailored fit of the upholstery gives the piece a refined, custom-built look, while the whimsical fabric pattern keeps it lighthearted and inviting.
