Inside a bowrider seating redo
Bowriders carry more upholstery than any other boat their size. A Four Winns 220 Horizon is basically a floating living room, and by the time one reaches us the sun has usually been working on every cushion at once.
A full seating refresh on a bowrider typically covers:
- Bow cushions shaped to the hull’s taper
- Helm and passenger buckets with fresh high-density foam
- The stern bench and sun pad in quick-dry foam and marine-grade vinyl
- Storage hatch lids, where hinge stress splits seams first
We sew everything with UV-stable thread and reset snaps and hardware in stainless so nothing bleeds rust down the new vinyl. Most owners drop the boat off after the season winds down and pick it up ready for launch, letting the Pennsylvania winter do the waiting for them.
