Project Details
The seat on a skid loader needed repairs.
- Project: Skidloader Seat
- Category: Skidloader Upholstery
Our Task
We renovated the seat by providing new, vinyl upholstery.
Nobody babies a skid loader, and its seat shows it. Between dusty jobsites, wet mornings, and operators climbing in and out fifty times a day, the factory cover usually splits years before the machine itself is tired.
A rebuild like this is about durability first. We use thick commercial-grade vinyl, high-density foam that can take a pounding, and seams sewn on our walking-foot Consew machines with heavy bonded thread. The goal is a seat that outlasts the original, because the second recover should be a long, long way off.
Comfort gets attention too. An operator spends more hours on that seat than on his own couch, so the foam is chosen for support over a full shift, not just the first ten minutes. A firmer base with a softer top layer usually wins the day, and a textured vinyl keeps the seat from turning into a slide when the machine tilts.
We handle equipment seats alongside our regular furniture upholstery. Call 717-383-6917 and get the workhorse fixed up.
