Full Restoration of a Mid-Century Furniture Set

This restoration project involved a rare mid-century furniture set from 1948, featuring a beautifully curved sofa and two matching chairs with elegant channel back detailing. Time had taken its toll on the pieces: the structure was weak, the springs were worn out, and the original fabric had faded and torn. But the shape, the charm, and the history were still very much alive.
We began with a complete teardown, revealing the original solid wood frames. Our team carefully reinforced the structure, hand-tied new coil springs, added premium foam, and rebuilt the seating to provide both comfort and durability. Every step — from the interior craftsmanship to the final stitching — was done in-house, with an emphasis on precision and quality.
The chosen fabric: a rich, neutral-toned upholstery textile that highlights the curves and vertical channels, giving these antique pieces a refined, modern look while keeping their classic soul intact.
This set is now ready for another generation of use — stylish, sturdy, and full of character.
