Wrapping ottoman upholstery in beautiful fabric.

Our Task
We wrapped this beautiful piece with classic fabric.
Wrapping an ottoman in fresh fabric looks simple from the outside, one cushiony box, one piece of cloth, how hard can it be. The answer lives at the corners. Fabric that lies flat on top has to turn two directions at once at each corner, and doing that without bulk or puckers is the kind of craft you only learn by ruining a few corners early in a career.
We pull the fabric to even tension across the top, work the corners into crisp folds or sewn seams depending on the style, and finish the base edge clean. Fresh batting under the fabric smooths old lumps, and if the foam beneath has gone flat we replace it while everything is open. The result looks less like a recover and more like a brand new piece. Legs and hardware come off first and go back on last, so the fabric line at the base stays unbroken all the way around. It is a one-day job on our bench that owners put off for years at home.
Our furniture shop turns tired ottomans around quickly. Call 717-383-6917 to get yours in line.
